Look forward to a festive evening with delicious food and drinks, a wonderful New Year’s atmosphere and fireworks over Copenhagen, before ending the celebrations with a relaxing overnight stay in one of our lovely rooms.

What does a New Year’s stay at Tivoli Hotel include?

Let the excitement begin from the moment you check in at Tivoli Hotel from 3:00 PM. Leave the planning, cooking and practicalities behind and focus instead on what matters most: enjoying the final evening of the year and letting the celebrations begin.

A New Year’s stay combines dinner and accommodation, so there is no need to think about getting home when the evening comes to an end. Look forward to a festive multi-course New Year’s dinner, with quality ingredients and delicious flavours at the heart of the experience.

Throughout the evening, background music creates a warm and inviting atmosphere as the clock slowly approaches midnight and a new year awaits.

Harlequin New Year

Welcome the New Year in elegant surroundings at Tivoli Hotel, where we invite you to enjoy a memorable evening with fantastic views of Copenhagen and an exclusive five-course New Year’s menu carefully created by our chefs.

The evening begins at 6PM in the hotel foyer with the King’s New Year’s address – accompanied, of course, by sparkling wine and snacks. At 6.30 PM, we welcome you to Tivoli View Restaurant on the 11th floor of City Tower, where a beautifully set table awaits with the city lights providing an atmospheric backdrop.

Look forward to a five-course dinner that brings plenty of flavour to the final evening of the year, with time to enjoy the food, the company and the special New Year’s atmosphere. As midnight approaches, we prepare to welcome the New Year, with traditional Danish kransekage and champagne naturally forming part of the celebration.

Harlequin New Year is for those looking for an elegant New Year’s Eve centred around gastronomy and views – leaving Tivoli Hotel to take care of the setting while you focus on enjoying the evening.

Please note: Our New Year’s menu is based on seasonal ingredients. Some tables have limited views, while others do not have a direct view. There will be no live music or dancing.

Columbine New Year

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the colourful and festive surroundings of Tivoli Hotel with Columbine New Year – a celebration for the whole family with delicious food, sparkling wine and cosy moments together.

The evening begins at 6PM in the hotel foyer, where we watch His Majesty King Frederik’s New Year’s address. Sparkling wine and small snacks will be served, allowing the New Year’s atmosphere to begin with the very first toast.

At 6.30 PM, the celebration continues in Tivoli Brasserie, where you can look forward to a starter followed by a lavish New Year’s buffet, with wine, beer and soft drinks served with dinner. Later in the evening, coffee and an after-dinner drink will be served before we raise our glasses with sparkling wine, enjoy traditional Danish kransekage and wish each other a Happy New Year.

Columbine New Year is designed with both children and adults in mind, allowing you to focus on enjoying the food, the atmosphere and the final hours of the year together. After the celebration, you can retire to your room and end the festive evening with a comfortable stay in one of our lovely rooms.

Tivoli Brasserie and Tivoli Bar & Lounge close at 1AM. There will be no live music or dancing.

Wake up to a generous breakfast buffet with everything you could wish for

On 1 January, we serve a generous breakfast buffet, so you can start the first day of the year at a relaxed pace. Explore the breakfast buffet at Tivoli Brasserie and fill your plate with your favourites while enjoying the first morning of the year at Tivoli Hotel.

If you have booked one of our higher room categories, breakfast is served instead at Tivoli View Restaurant on the 11th floor, where you can start the day with views over Copenhagen. Breakfast at Tivoli View Restaurant is included with these room categories.

And there is no need to rush. With check-out not until 12PM, there may even be time for a dip in our swimming pool followed by a visit to the sauna. Pure relaxation and a wonderful way to enjoy the final hours of your New Year’s stay before heading home.

How to book your New Year’s stay
